Typology of civic identity

Background Civic identity is considered a kind of organizational identity, which value-semantic experience the individual’s with themself as citizen state. It manifested in institutional, community, and individual dimen-sions. Each mentioned dimensions civic can be differently developed (actualized) particular individual, suggests existence certain types identity. The article aims to empirically verify typology an identify both most common least among Ukrainian citizens. Participants procedure study involved 965 citizens Ukraine aged 16-60, whom 377 were men (39.1%) 588 women (60.9%). To assess establish development degree each them, author’s ques-tionnaire “Diagnosis maturity type identity” was used. Results 8 main inherent Ukrainians has been established, namely Insti-tutional-community (17%), Latent (16%), Game Community-game (15%), Institutional-game (12%), Com-munity (11%), Versatile (8%), Institutional (5%). Conclusions Most tend engage game interaction state, dominated by subject-object par-adigms. orientation state also societal, indicates that games scenar-ios are borrowed from others conditioned mainly conformity rather than conscious choice. prevalence (indeterminate) coincides subjects’ relatively low level maturity.
